ABOUT US
The Boyd Tavern Trust is made up entirely of folks who live in Boyd Tavern and desire to preserve its agricultural roots and historic significance while working together to ensure a wonderful place for our children and grandchildren to grow up and raise families of their own.
Boyd Tavern includes not only the historic tavern and cemetery, but the neighborhoods of Keswick Farms, Pine Run, and Woods Edge, as well as surrounding residences, farms, and estates. Additionally, we’re home to Boyd Tavern Market and numerous independent businesses.
Our aims are simple:
New signage designating our historic village and deterring through-traffic and littering
Reducing the posted speed limit along Union Mills Road (Rt. 616) through the village
Shared use paths along roadsides connecting shared trails, ride share locations, and the Market
An informal network of neighbors who can help meet needs and share resources
An annual community day celebrating the unique stories of Boyd Tavern and its residents
